Good Leadership Sponsor Spotlight 2017-04-18T14:45:15+00:00

We’re Thankful For Our Sponsors!

Sponsors are an integral part of the success of the Good Leadership Breakfast. The sponsors, through both their financial support and spreading the word about the Good Leadership Breakfast, have helped build a solid program, a growing and dynamic audience, and a network that proves that Goodness Pays! To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Erin Wilken, Marketing and Client Development Partner, at erin@goodleadership.com.

OrangeBall Creative and Good Leadership Enterprises have been partners since 2013. They have been instrumental in establishing and refining the Good Leadership brand.

Where do you see goodness alive in your business/industry?

Since day one, OrangeBall has been dedicated to taking the time to come alongside organizations that we see spreading goodness in the community. We reserve hours each month to work with these groups on a pro-bono basis to ensure that their messages aren’t getting lost in the shuffle. Whether it’s the Boy Scouts of America, Teen Challenge, a local theatre company or a foundation that makes sure kids have access to hockey equipment, our goal is to create a strong legacy for ourselves in the work we do.

What good has come to you by sponsoring the Good Leadership Breakfast?

Having attended the Good Leadership Breakfast and then becoming a sponsor has changed the trajectory of our business. Working to help make this event come alive has made us better as a team and accelerated our personal growth as a creative firm. It keeps goodness at the forefront of everything we do and every conversation we have, and it is something that we are working to bring into the businesses we serve. Every company has the opportunity to promote goodness on some level. For us, helping them discover creative ways to do that is a cornerstone of our business. Our work at the Breakfast has also allowed us to connect with companies whose values align with ours where we can grow long-term relationships and help build each other’s businesses over time.

What do you tell people about the Good Leadership Breakfast when you invite them to attend?

The Good Leadership Breakfast is an event, where no matter how busy my week is, I am always glad I made time to attend. The conversations and networking opportunities are fantastic. The amazing speakers always leave me inspired and changed. Coming back to the office after a Friday Good Leadership Breakfast brings out the best in me, and the trickle-down effect within my team and our clients is very visible. If you want to be inspired and change your perspective on your professional and personal life, this is the place to do it!

What is your favorite part of your sponsor experience?

For OrangeBall Creative, our favorite part of the sponsor experience is knowing that we are part of the larger Goodness Movement. We’ve seen the Good Leadership Breakfast having a profound impact in businesses and individuals across the Twin Cities and we are excited to play a part in making that happen. Being a sponsor and being involved in sharing and growing goodness is something OrangeBall Creative is dedicated to as a business.

The MPX Group and Good Leadership Enterprises have been partners since 2012. Their exceptional dedication to quality in print materials has brought the Good Leadership message to life. In partnership with MXP, we have put the Seven Fs Wheel in the hands of many good leaders.

Where do you see goodness alive in your business/industry?

We see goodness alive in our business with our employees. We have an anonymous employee satisfaction survey of 150 questions that we recently added goodness question. We wanted to identify what is important to our employees. 12 of our 33 employees serve on the Goodness Committee – because they want to serve!

Our biggest learning was that yes, we donate printing, but that is what we do everyday. Our employees wanted to go out into the community and actually serve. Volunteering with Miracles of Mitch, the ALS Walk, and the Sandwich Project are a few of the ways our employees volunteer.

What good has come to you by sponsoring the Good Leadership Breakfast?

We’ve met great people and reconnected with great people that we haven’t seen for a while. It’s more than networking – because it’s not just about business. People say, oh, it is such a small world to see you at the breakfast, but it’s not really a small world, people with similar goals often end up in the same place.

What do you tell people about the Good Leadership Breakfast when you invite them to attend?

You have to go! The Good Leadership Breakfast gives you an insight into what good leaders are really doing and what goodness means. It is a lot of great stories, great experiences that all relate to what we are doing in business. It also raises money, which is great – but you personally are going to walk away with some nugget that you are going to think, hmm, I could do that!

What is your favorite part of your sponsor experience?

Seeing teammates talk about The MPX Group– doing the little commercial that comes with being a sponsor. It is a good feeling to be connected to something you believe.  Sometimes you sponsor for the advertisement and to get something out of it – but this sponsorship is more to us because it is what we believe in. We like being part of this community of sponsors.
