Good Leaders: How are you living generously?

What would you do with $204,395 to change a little piece of the world? That’s what the Good Leadership Breakfast tribe is doing with the help of HANDy Paint Pail inventor Mark Bergman. We call it living generously.

Good Leaders: What habits help you be grateful today?

The words, "we felt compelled to do something in our son's honor," caused the lump in my throat last Friday. The speaker at the Good Leadership Breakfast, Marc Miller, was sharing how in his state of grieving over the sudden loss of his son, he felt called to start a non-profit to honor the name of his child, Gunnar.

Good Leaders: How does your faith affect how you show up?

Today the theme Back to the Future (not the movie) is alive in me. This Friday is the second Good Leadership Breakfast of the year. We are going back to the formula of the Seven Fs: faith, family, finances, fitness, friends, fun and future for organizing the speakers for the whole series. Last month, our kickoff speaker Richard Leider explored the idea of how “purpose” is at the center of the Seven Fs Wheel. Going forward we are focusing on each of the Seven Fs, starting with “faith.” So, this being the second breakfast, “faith” is the back to the future subject.

Good Leaders: How does your faith create happiness around you?

Imagine this: one day you learn your nineteen year-old son has suffered catastrophic head injuries from a skateboarding accident. And when he dies, you dedicate your life to helping young people find happiness. To me, that's a story of spreading goodness.
